The two candidates seem fairly similar, but I like Jay's feed-the-hungry house-the-unhoused plank.
Not sure exactly how he plans to do it on his other "lower taxes to look better than Chanhassen" plank (y'all have got a thing, huh?), but at least his heart's in the right place on how to spend a tax base once you've collected it.
